NDMC Launched Stri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana In Delhi
The
North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC ) on 6 March launched a new
health scheme called ‘ Stri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna ‘ for the women
welfare.The Scheme aims to bring services closer for those living in
rural areas and unauthorized colonies. Under the scheme, health camps
and mass awareness drives will be held in various areas of north Delhi.
The medical services will be provided through various nodal centres,
hospitals and mobile dispensaries marked for the programme.
World Dentist Day Observed Across The World On 6 March 2014
World
Dentist Day is being observed across the world on 6 March 2014. The day
is observed every year to raise awareness about dental health. On this
day the Indian Dentists Association (IDA) organizes Continuing Medical
Education (CME), seminars and workshops to update the dentists about the
various developmental programme, which is aimed towards improving the
dental health.
