Age Limit: Candidates age limit is 30 years for Posts 1 to 6, 37 years for Posts 7 to 9 and 35 years for Post 10. Age relaxation is 05 years for SC/ ST/ PH and 03 years for OBC candidates. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess Master’s Degree in Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry/ Degree in Chemical Technology or Chemical Engineering for Post 1, Degree in Glass/ Ceramics Technology for Post 2, Degree in Engineering or P.G degree in Business Management/ Industrial Management/ Production Management for Post 3, Degree in Leather/ Footwear Technology for Post 4, Degree in Mechanical Engineering for Post 5, Degree in Metallurgy Engineering for Post 6, B.E.in Electrical Engineering for Post 7, Degree in Electrical Engineering for Post 8, Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering for Post 9 and Bachelor of Engineering or Technology and Master of Engineering or Technology in Civil Engineering with 1st Class or equivalent for Post 10 with relevant experience.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on performance in Interview.

Application Fee: Candidates need to Pay Rs.25/- either by remitting the money in any branch of SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/ master credit/ debit card. No fee for SC/ ST/ PH/ Women candidates.

Salection Mode:- 

                                  Candidates are selected based on written examination and skill test, physical endurance test, interview/ personality test.

For Offline Mode:- 

                                  Candidates have to take Central Recruitment Fee Stamps(CRFS) stamps are available at the counter of all Departmental Post Offices of the country. Recruitment Fee Stamps should be pasted on the application form in the space earmarked for the purpose and get canceled at the concerned post office, issued with the date stamp. Application Form itself, taking care at the same time that the impression is clear and distinct to facilitate the identification of date and Post Office of issue at any subsequent stage.

For Online Mode:-

                                Candidates have to pay the fee only through State Bank of India either in the form of  net-banking or challan.

                            Candidates can apply through online from the  www.ssconline2.gov.in or wesite www.ssc.nic.in  on or before 09-04-2014 by 5:00 PM for Part-I and 11-04-2014 by 5:00 PM for Part-II and 18-04-2014 for candidates in remote areas. Candidates can also apply through offline submit application only to the concerned Regional/ Sub Regional Office (refer Notification) of the Commission under whose jurisdiction the Centre selected by candidate falls. Only a single application will be entertained for a candidate and no need to send any print outs or xerox copies.
